Voters want their voice heard and their vote to matter.

Challenges stand in the way, threatening to silence the voice of voters and undermine democracy.

But voters still have the power to overcome these challenges. With the right leadership, Democrats can reclaim their role in shaping a future where every vote counts and every voice is valued.

Systemic Neglect: Breaking the Cycle of Exclusion

Systemic neglect has left too many communities underserved and overlooked, weakening trust in our institutions and democratic systems. Rebuilding requires bold action to create inclusive, equitable systems that empower every voice and every vote.

Outdated Technology: A Critical Barrier to Progress

Outdated technology hinders voter outreach, data management, fundraising, and overall campaign effectiveness, leaving critical gaps in engagement. Modernizing our tools and infrastructure is essential to future-proof campaigns, safeguard democracy, and amplify every voice.

Combating Disinformation: A 24/7 Battle for Truth

Disinformation is a calculated weapon designed to divide communities, confuse voters, and undermine democracy. A 24/7 response using diverse communication platforms is essential to restore trust and ensure access to the truth.

Dr. Chris Jones

I live in one of America’s reddest states, but there’s not a door I’m afraid to knock. Because I know that when we meet people on their own doorstep, the message works, the people are good, and the platform offers every American a better life.

As co-chair of the "Dirt Road Dems," I’ve spent the last year and half helping the party formulate and execute outreach to rural voters. As our party’s nominee for Governor in Arkansas in 2022, I built a unique and diverse coalition of supporters who created a foundation that is now benefiting Democratic politics in Arkansas. And as the co-founder of Vortex PAC, which in 2024 helped find strong congressional candidates for each of our four districts and helped the party find the highest number of democratic candidates to run in Arkansas in over a decade, I saw where the party infrastructure failed.

As an MIT-trained NASA guy, I see ways we can fix it.

Listening Matters

I understand the frustration and disconnection so many feel in today’s political system. I’ve walked alongside thousands of rural voters, Black voters, young activists, and historically marginalized communities who feel silenced and unheard. I know their stories because I’ve listened to them, learned from them, and worked to empower them.

Leading Matters

I don't just listen—I act. With degrees in physics, math, nuclear engineering, technology & policy, and urban planning, and experience leading the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub, I combine my expertise with a deep sense of purpose to strategically and tactically move the mission forward. I’ve proven that thoughtful leadership can solve complex challenges and create real change that directly benefits people.

Fighting Matters

I cut my teeth in politics on the first Deval Patrick for Governor of Massachusetts campaign and have not stopped fighting for voters since. More recently, that fight has included:

  • Democratic Nominee for Governor of Arkansas (2022): I ran an inspiring, innovative, people-first campaign focused on unity and opportunity, which emphasized education, economic development, and rural outreach.

  • Co-Chair of Dirt Road Democrats PAC: I lead efforts to reconnect the Democratic Party with rural voters by addressing their unique challenges and building grassroots networks that add value to existing efforts.

  • Co-Founder of Vortex PAC: I helped launch a federal PAC which supports Democratic candidates and initiatives that uphold fair representation and progressive values.

New Ideas &
Fresh Perspectives
For the Fight Ahead

Sometimes, You Do Need a Rocket Scientist

I want to drive the innovative implementation of re-engaging voters, and I want to do that through one of my personal strengths: technology. If we want to be leaders for the 21st Century, we must use every tool the 21st century has to offer.

Technology Overhaul

This includes all our systems from direct voter contact, to data management, to budgeting; to also future proofing and protecting against technology threats.

 Permanent Voter Participation Network

We need technological infrastructure to implement collaborative campaigning. There are entirely too many duplicated efforts across campaigns working in the same geographic area. We need to harness the untapped potential up and down the ballot – from POTUS to school board members.

Engagement Tour

We need to actively engage with citizens and give them something that’s of value before asking them to do something for us.

Massive Down Ballot Recruitment

Here we focus on the seats needed for 2030 redistricting. Neighbors nominate neighbors to run for local office. Give state parties the resources to vet, train and support these down ballot candidates.

Voter Registration

This includes an intense push for legislation that makes voting more accessible, particularly in republican controlled states. Use technology to register, track registrations and to maintain contact with voters.

Misinformation and Disinformation Battle

We can’t just let it slide. That means engaging with communication mechanism that we have ignored for too long. Low tech (local papers) and high tech (TikTok, twitch, podcasts, etc.). And we must engage 24/7 so that we combat it.

Together, we will empower voters, rebuild trust, and protect democracy.

The Democratic National Committee is vital in protecting voting rights, amplifying marginalized voices, and ensuring democracy thrives in every state and territory.
